You're behind the wheel, driving a 435hp race car for 10 laps at State Line Speedway in Post Falls, ID.

This is the introductory program. If you have ever wanted to drive a real racecar, now you can! Feel the thrill of 435 horsepower under the hood as your hands coolly grip the steering wheel of a real NASCAR style racecar. This program begins with a 1-1/2 hour classroom session teaching the basics of car control, balance, left-foot braking, and the racing lines. After the classroom it is on to the racetrack for 35 exhilarating laps behind the wheel of our race prepared Chevrolet V-8 Monte Carlo, Late Model stock cars.

Our Racing 202 program is similar to the Racing 101 school but offers you two on-track sessions allowing you more coaching and critique from our instructors.

This program begins with a bit more in depth, 2 hour classroom session teaching you the basics of car control, balance, left foot braking, and the difference between a racing line and a qualifying line showing you how you can start up front. While on the racetrack you will be behind the wheel of one of our race prepared Chevrolet V-8 Monte Carlo, Late Model stock cars for two 25 lap sessions.

A controlled passing lane is used in your second session allowing you to pass other cars on the track so that your speed and progress is not impeded.

Are you ready for more than just a thrill? Come take a Test Drive. This is our most popular program. After a 2 hour technical classroom you will strap in for 75 laps on the track coupled with coaching from our instructors.

Techniques such as trail braking, understeer & oversteer, as well as being smooth and maintaining balance. Learn the difference between the racing line and qualifying line around the track. With 75 laps spread out over three driving sessions, you will have ample seat time in our race prepared Chevrolet V-8 Monte Carlo Late Model stock cars. Coupled with the coaching from our instructors, between each one of the three on-track sessions, where our staff will critique your progression and assist you to make improvements.

If you are ready to go racing then the checkered flag awaits. Here you will spend two days learning the racing techniques to help you find the winner's circle. Day One is spent similar to our full day racing school with an extra emphasis on getting you up to speed. Day Two begins with another classroom session and a debriefing from the first days on-track activities. The classroom then focuses on braking, passing, qualifying, and green flag starts. In addition to extensive driving sessions, track time will also be spent in exercises such as learning the different aspects of recognizing, setting up, and completing the pass as well as how to get up to the front from the start by practicing green flag starts from different positions.

Once you schedule a riding or driving program for a specific date you then immediately become subject to that particular school's terms and conditions - NO EXCEPTIONS.

This includes terms and policies relating to refund requests and rescheduling issues and includes any fees or penalties charged by the school.

RacingSchools.com will NOT issue any refunds at anytime for any reason - NO EXCEPTIONS.

All program dates are subject to change due to circumstances beyond the operator's control.

Qualifications:
All drivers must have a valid drivers license. If under 18, driver needs parental approval. Drivers & riders must fit into the seat with safety belts fastened properly.

All participants must be able to enter and exit the race car on their own through a window opening approximately 15 high x 30 wide and 36 off the ground, and be in good health. Size limitations may apply. Participants over 6-4 in height and/or over 295 lbs. should contact our Customer Service Department prior to purchase, to be fitted. There will be no refunds due to a students inability to fit into the race car.

All participants must be at least 18 years of age by the date of the scheduled program and have a valid drivers license.

Insurance:
All participants will be required to sign a waiver and release of liability. Except for very rare occasions, damage to the race cars is unlikely and preventable however, participants are responsible for any and all damage that they may cause to the race cars, equipment, and or race track. A Damage Liability Policy is available for most of our programs limiting the participants liability and risk as an insurance style program with a $1000 deductible. For the Thrill Drive program the policy is $35.00, for the Racing 101 program the policy fee is $75.00, for Racing 202 the policy fee is $100.00, and for the Racing 303 the policy fee is $125.00. A $1200.00 deductible program is offered for the Competition Racing program and the policy fee is $200.00.

By electing to purchase the Damage Liability Policy you will only be responsible for the deductible amount in the event of an accident. Any participant involved in an accident or causing damage to their race car may, at the discretion of the lead instructor be excluded from completing his / her program losing any remaining laps.

Equipment Provided:
The Competitive Edge Racing School will provide you with a driving suit and helmet if needed. The driving suits are Sparco two-layer Nomex. The helmets are Shoei RF700 Snell approved DOT standard liner helmets. This equipment may be adequate for the general usage and purpose that it is intended for, but it may not provide the highest level of safety available. When available we recommend, (not require), that the participant bring and use a multiple layer Nomex driving suit, with Nomex underwear, a Nomex beleclava (head sock), Nomex driving gloves, driving shoes, and a Nomex lined SA 2000 helmet. I understand that usage of school provided equipment is acceptance of its safety level. It is recommended that you wear sneakers in lieu of boots etc. Sandals or open toe shoes will not be allowed.

Scheduling:
No refunds, no exceptions! All programs must be paid in full at time of enrollment. Advance registration is mandatory for all programs. With the exception of Racing Series events, you may reschedule your program up to 30 days prior for a fee of $50.

Rain Policy:
In the event of rain we will make every attempt to dry the track and perform all scheduled track time. However, in the event the day is declared a �rain-out� (called at the sole discretion of the lead instructor), you will be able to reschedule any missed course time on the next available program date. If the rained out event is the last available date at that specific track your program may be held over to the following season. REFUNDS WILL NOT BE GRANTED.
