Introduction:
U.S. Formula 1 Driving Experience
The U.S. Formula 1 driving programs were created around the following unique concept: “Open the doors to driving authentic F1 cars and share an incredible world of prestige and excitement with a select few clients who can truly appreciate the uniqueness of this driving experience.”
“The real thing!”
U.S. Formula offers authentic Formula 1 race cars, once used in the Formula 1 World Championship: the 1997 Arrows (driven by World Champion Damon Hill), the 1998 Benneton (driven by Giancarlo Fischella), and the 2001 Prost (driven by both Jean Alesi and Heinz Harald Frentzen). The Arrows and Benneton are equipped with a Ford Cosworth 3.5L V8, while the Prost sports a Peugeot 3.5L V10. Both engines put out about 700HP in cars that weights less than 1000 lbs! That's an insane amount of power! All cars are equipped with traction control, semi-automatic gearbox with steering wheel paddle shifters, carbon brakes, and more features only found in these multi-million dollar racecars!
“Location! Location! Location!”
Such an exciting unique experience could only happen at an equally exciting and unique setting: Las Vegas! The track used is Las Vegas Motor Speedway's outside road racing circuit.

The training vehicles:
Every U.S. Formula program starts with an informative classroom session that will look at the many facets involved in driving real race cars. The classroom session is followed by an opportunity to look at the track features during a passenger van drive around of the full circuit.
Now you're ready to start the actual driving portion of your program. We use open seat Formula 2000 race cars to begin your track familiarization process. These are the perfect training vehicles to get you comfortable on the race track and get you used to the feel of an open wheel single seat race car.
Safety: “A top priority”
Our technical staff meticulously checks and tunes each car before and after every class.
- Each car is checked and Ok' d by an instructor who drives it around the track before class to ensure readiness of equipment.
- Each car has been equipped with a traction control (ASR) system which reduces rear wheel spin for easier and safer handling on the race track.
- Instructors, mechanics and safety crew will closely monitor students during track runs.
- All safety equipment worn by all students, including triple layer nomex suits, nomex hood, gloves, helmets etc. are provided by U.S. (we use brand names like OMP and Alpinestars which are certified by the FIA )
- The maximum number of students for our training class is limited to 15.“The success of this fantastic driving experience is based on safety”!
