Introduction:
Mario Andretti is the most famous american race car driver ever. Originally born in Italy, Andretti began racing as a youngster in the USA and developed a career that spanned many decades. Within that time, Mario won numerous championships, including the Cart Indycars Series, The Indy 500, numerous Formula 1 Grand Prix, and even the 1978 Formula 1 championship. Mario Andretti's success resulted in one of the most famous racing families in the world, with his son Michael Andretti, nephews Jeff, John Andretti, and now his grand son, Marco Andretti. Now the Andrettis come together to provide racing fans with the unique experience of driving Indy style cars at some of the best tracks in the country!
 At the Mario Andretti Racing School, drivers will get the experience of driving (or riding in) high powered formula 2000 at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway. If you have always wondered what it would be to drive an formula car, this may be your dream come true!
At the Mario Andretti Racing School, Programs range from rides in BMW Z3's, to driving programs in which participants may reach speeds of 100mph on a road course! Programs available for individuals and groups.

All program dates have been confirmed but are subject to change due to circumstances beyond the operator's control.
Qualifications:
To Drive:
- Guests must be in good Physical Condition.
- Because of safety reasons, cars are restricted to those 6'7" tall & under and weigh less than 295 lbs. The F2000 Road Course race cars size requirements are 6'5" tall and under 250.
- Participants must have a valid drivers license. Participants under the age of 18, must be accompanied by an adult who must give written consent.
To Ride:
- Guests must be in good physical condition
- There is no age limit to ride, however for safety reasons we do require a height of 5'0" and a weight of 100 lbs.
- If under 18 years old, a parental consent form must be signed.
Insurance:
A $25 licensing fee is included in the price of all programs.
- 1/2 Day and One Day programs no car damage liability.
- Two & Three Day programs student responsible for up to $3,000 in car damage liability. (per incident)
- Advanced Lapping Days student responsible for up to $5,000 in car damage liability. (per incident)
Scheduling:
All programs must be pre paid in full at time of enrollment. Advance registration is mandatory for all riding and driving programs. You may reschedule a program date, up to 30 days prior to your program's start date subject to a $50.00 rescheduling fee. No cancellations or rescheduling within 30 days of your driving date. No refunds will be issued for any reason.

 Practice consists of three exciting racing exercises. First you will practice racing techniques as you drive a specially equipped BMW 318i Skid Car learning about skids, slides and every day car control. Second, you will drive a race equipped BMW Z3 on the Technique Oval, practicing correct racing lines, throttle management, as well as straight line and trail breaking techniques. The third racing exercise you will drive a race prepped BMW Z3 and test your driving skills for accident avoidance.

Following training and instruction, suit up, get buckled in to drive a race prepped BMW Z3 for one 20 minute thrilling session around a high-speed multiple turn and fast straight away road course. You will be at the controls while an instructor rides with you, giving you constant feedback via radio communication. It’s truly an experience you’ll never forget!

Get more seat time and drive twice as much! Your hands are on the wheel, white knuckle all the way for two 20 minute sessions on a multiple turn and fast straight away road course in a race prepped BMW Z3, while getting constant feedback from an instructor in the passenger seat. After receiving the checkered flag in your first session, you will then head back on the road course for session two working on higher speeds and thrilling precise turning.

The first two 20 minute sessions you will drive race prepped BMW Z’3’s on the challenging road course working your way up to the third and final 20 minute session in a high performance Formula 2000 race car. Satisfy your need for speed and more driving time with 80 minutes of racing, on this multi turn fast straight away road course. The first two 20 minute sessions, you’ll drive race prepped BMW Z3’s and then get to drive two 20 minute sessions in our High Performance Formula 2000 race cars. You’ll improve your racing performance and speed each driving session mastering your turns and hitting your spots just right. The Victory Lane is the most driving time available in one day on a road course and is recommended for the serious racer or that person that just has the appetite for speed and exhilarating thrills!

 Start your engines! This two-day road racing program is what racing is all about. You actually drive 10 sessions, a total of 245 minutes. Included on day one is: Classroom instruction, 45 minutes in a Formula 2000 race car on the Technique Oval, 15 minutes in the 318i BMW Skid Car, 45 minutes in the Formula 2000 practicing Heel-and-Toe skills. In the afternoon, you get behind the wheel of a race prepped BMW Z3 for two 20 minute sessions of road racing. On day two, you will drive five, 20 minute sessions in a Formula 2000 race car on the challenging road course with feedback and instruction between each driving session. The World Champion includes in-car radio communication from instructor to students, data acquisition and advanced racing techniques.

This three-day program will allow you to secure an SCCA racing license after successfully completing the driving portion requirements and passing your written exam. For the first two days, you’ll complete the World Champion program. The third day consists of one on-track passing session in a Formula 2000 race car, and one session that has you racing into turn 1 for multiple practice starts. Complete the program with the SCCA test plus three all out 20 minute open lapping sessions in Formula 2000 race cars with data acquisition debriefs. Mario Andretti Racing School will give you the skills and knowledge of what it takes to get your SCCA racing license.

Mario Andretti Racing School Advanced Lapping Days are designed to take any World Champion racing school graduate to new levels of performance and expertise. You will drive five full 20 minute lapping sessions! Chase and Follow exercises are included in one of your 5 track sessions. An instructor straps into another Formula 2000 and gets on track with you to simulate race conditions. Every car is equipped with a Racing Electronics racing radio that enables your instructor to give you instant feedback at every point on the race track. Your instructor will continue to use our exclusive Stack Data Acquisition system to give you a lap by lap breakdown of your on-track performance. You also get to keep all your computer printouts as proof of your accomplishments!
