Formula Drivetech Racing School offers race fans, thrill seekers and aspiring racers the opportunity to experience the incredible thrill and performance of an open-wheeled Formula style racecar. If you want to understand the performance and thrill of one of these racecars from the driver’s seat, you’ve found the place to start.
Formula Drivetech uses beautifully prepared Formula style cars for a thrill unlike any other. You’ll start by getting suited up into a Firesuit and Helmet which Drivetech will provide, that’s followed by classroom instruction to get you ready to go racing. Then you’ll get your turn behind the wheel of one of these awesome racecars.
All the Formula Drivetech packages start with 4 minutes on track behind one of our instructors as he teaches you the line and breaking points around the racetrack. (This time is counted towards your total, for instance if you sign up for the 16 minute session you will do 4 minutes of training and 12 minutes of green flag racing. 26 minutes is 4 and 22, etc.) After, you’ve learned the line, it’s time to go racing.
Formula Drivetech offers you great freedom and track time for reasonable enrollment fees, therefore each student does share some responsibility for the racecar. Formula Drivetech can provide insurance for the racecar for $60.00 with a deductible of $1500.00 USD. The insurance works as all insurance where you would be responsible for up to the first $1500.00 in damage and Formula Drivetech will assume the rest of the liability. If you decline the insurance, you would be responsible for up to $15,000.00 in damage liability.

Drive for more laps and faster speeds. Your hands are on the wheel, white knuckled all the way for three thrilling sessions. Following the checkered flag on your first session, you'll get feedback from an instructor on pit road, and then head back on the race track for session two; working on going faster better technique which leads to faster speeds. Then you can put it all together for one more high speed run on track for a total of 36 minutes of driving time.

Start out with 16 minutes driving on track in a Formula car. After your first session on track you'll come into the pits for a brief break and review of your performance. While in the pits, the instructor will give you tips and techniques to improve your performance out on the track. After your overview in the pits, you'll return to the track for more driving with a quick break in between each. (Total of 50 minutes of driving time) Liability limited to $2,000 per incident. The Race Day program goes from the basics of Formula Car driving all the way to understanding all the nuances of the art and science of open-wheeled racing.

In this program you'll have five sessions driving on track in Formula cars. After your first 16 minutes on track, you'll come into the pits for a brief break and review of your first session. While in the pits, the instructor will give you tips and techniques to improve your performance out on the track. After your overview in the pits you'll return to the track for four more 10 minute sessions with a break in between each, for a total of 76 minutes of driving. If you ever wanted the education and background to really understand Indy Car and F-1 racing, this is the course for you.

This program is extremely intensive and advanced. Looking for the building blocks for a career in open-wheeled racing? This program will get you started!

After your overview in the pits you'll return to the track for more 10 minute sessions with a break in between each, for a total of 140 minutes of driving. As with the other courses, insurance is included and liability is limited to $2,000.

Qualifications:
All drivers must be 18 years of age or older, with a valid drivers license. Riders must be 10 years of age or older and at least 48 inches tall.
Insurance:
Insurance is included in all prices, and limits driver liability to a maximum of $2,000 for any car damage.
Scheduling:
All programs must be pre-paid in full at time of enrollment. Advance registration is mandatory for all riding and driving programs. You may reschedule a program date, up to 30 days prior to your program's start date subject to a $45.00 rescheduling fee. No refunds will be issued for any reason.
Rain Policy :
Unless the school calls you in advance to cancel because the weather predictions are very bad, every participant MUST show up at the track even if its raining! Just like in real Nascar racing, there will be a wait to see if the track can be dried off once the rain subsides. If the weather does not allow the program to happen, drivers at the track will be issued a credit to return and complete their programs at a later date. Please do NOT assume a program will not happen if the weather looks grim. Show up or you will be considered a "no show" and will forfeit your program's cost.
