Introduction:
This program puts you behind the wheel on one of the most challenging racetracks in the country, as famed Porsche racing pros guide you through each step!
The Vehicles:
While the Carrera is a street automobile, it shows it's inherent racing technology as soon as you get it on the track. All of the 325-horsepower engine is at your disposal, providing breathtaking acceleration while the race-bred 6-speed transmission offers incredible flexibility. Take the curves of the beautiful and challenging Barbers Motorsports Park, knowing that the combination of a sophisticated four-wheel independent sport suspension equipped with 18-inch wheels and hi-performance tires provides the ultimate in cornering and handling. And, while you learn how to put all that speed and power to proper use, you'll have the Porsche Stability Management system to help keep you in line.

Activities & Skills:
"All of the 325-horsepower engine is at your disposal"
This Porsche program isn't a racing school. It's far more useful: a high performance driver education program, designed to enhance the driving skills of automotive enthusiasts by focusing on control, safety, situational awareness, and smoothness. As such, the program teaches skills that have broad application in everyday driving.
There is so much that goes into expert driving that this Porsche programl divides these skills into singularly focused exercises. Once each is "mastered", they culminate into a more controlled, confident, and exciting driving experience.

Barber Motorsports Park, near Birmingham, Alabama, is one of the newest and most beautiful racetracks in the country, and this program has also recognized it as one of the best. The facilities are ideal for learning the finer points of the art of high-performance driving. This track represents the state of the art in race circuit design featuring a challenging 2.38-mile road course with a variety of high- and low-speed corners sculpted into gently rolling forrest like setting.
The track can be configured into two smaller circuits, giving the students the opportunity to concentrate on specific braking and cornering exercises. This helps students learn different segments of the track before putting it all together into high-speed laps on the full course.
Barber Motorsports Park is located at the center of the Southeast's automotive industry base, and is minutes from hotels and world-class golf courses. The park also includes new meeting, dining, and conference facilities, plus the Barber Vintage Motorsports Museum, renowned for its extensive collection of motorcycles.

This advanced course is offered to former graduates of the Two-Day Porsche Sport Driving School at Barber Motor Sports Park. The Masters course is designed to take previous participants, who have gained basic skills and knowledge, to the next level of performance. We begin by polishing car control skills through practice on the Skid Pad and Basic Training Course where they will receive in-depth instruction on cornering technique and sessions orienting drivers to the track. Since honing driving skills is all about track time, the key objective of day-two is to maximize track time during the open track sessions. The full day is spent in lapping sessions with a short break for each group to rise to the Michelin Autocross Challenge.
