The Track
The Olympic Sports Complex is home to a mile-long bobsled and skeleton
track. The track features 20 curves over a 350-foot vertical drop. Fantasy
Camp athletes will often exceed speeds of over 70 mph!
The Camp
USBSF coaches teach you the basics of bobsled or skeleton on the same
track used by Olympic athletes. You learn:
- How to train for bobsled or skeleton
- How to push a bobsled or skeleton sled
- How to drive a bobsled or skeleton sled
- How to do a track walk
Housing
All Fantasy Camp athletes stay at the U.S. Olympic Training Center in Lake
Placid, NY. As one of only three U.S. Olympic Training Centers, the Lake
Placid facility provides housing and year-round training for many of
America’s top summer and winter athletes. In addition to housing, camp
athletes will have access to the same gymnasium and weight room used by
the U.S. Team.
Fees
The $2,000 fee includes:
- Housing at the OTC (three nights/four days)
- Meals at the OTC
- One-year USBSF membership
- Coaching Fees
- USBSF activewear

The Track:
The Utah Olympic Park is the site of the 2002 Olympic Winter Games and is home to a 15-curve bobsled and skeleton track that is 1,335 meters (8/10 of a mile) long. Fantasy Camp athletes will often approach speeds of more then 75 mph!
