FAST LANE is the "Official Racing School of Toyota Motorsports. " FAST LANE provides all the training for the participants in the Toyota Pro/Celebrity Race held each year at the Toyota Grand Prix of Long Beach. Not only will you drive the same cars the celebrities used, you will train with the same instructors who teach the celebrities for the race.

Willow Springs International Motorsports Park:

Located just outside of the greater Los Angeles area.

Willow Springs international Raceway, built in 1953, has been dubbed "The Fastest Road in the West," and for good reason. The racetrack consists of an array of elevation changes, nine turns and one long straight away where speeds on some cars and motorcycles have been known to break 200mph. Speeds on the turns can approach anywhere from 70mph to 170mph. How's that for fast?

All program dates have been confirmed, but are subject to change due to circumstances beyond the operator's control.

Qualifications:

All drivers must be 16 years of age or older, with a valid drivers license, and the ability to drive a manual transmission car (stick shift) - Unless driver is using their own automatic car.

Insurance:

Drivers have full liability for damage to cars, whether their driving the school cars or their own.

Scheduling:

All programs must be pre paid in full at time of enrollment. Advance registration is mandatory for all programs. You may reschedule a program date, up to 30 days prior to your program's start date, subject to a $50 rescheduling fee. No cancellations are allowed within 7 days of your driving date. No refunds will be issued for any reason.

Half Day High Performance Driving

Elevate your street driving skills using advanced racing techniques to help you understand how your input affects handling. You will negotiate the challenging and technical Streets of Willow (1.8-mile road course) where the pros and celebrities prepare each year for the Toyota Grand Prix of Long Beach. You will graduate a more accomplished driver, armed with skills that may someday save your life! Half Days are taught on the same days as the One Day High Performance Driving Course. **Skid pad exercises are not included.

Our professional instructors help you to combine the classroom discussion with large amounts of behind the wheel seat time in our race-prepared Toyota Celica GT coupes. Elevate your street driving skills using advanced racing techniques to help you understand how your input affects handling. You will negotiate the challenging and technical Streets of Willow (1.8-mile road course) where the pros and celebrities prepare each year for the Toyota Grand Prix of Long Beach. Learn vehicle dynamics and vehicle skids out on our skid pad. You will graduate a much more accomplished driver, armed with skills that may someday save your life!

Two Day High Performance Driving

Combine the basic vehicle dynamics knowledge you learned on day one with continual lapping sessions on day two. More personalized attention and additional track time will polish your newly-found driving skills. Learn various cornering techniques, the proper ìracing line,î and start identifying your strengths and weaknesses. After raising the level of your own driving ability, you will begin to think like a race car driver, looking for the fastest, most efficient way around the track!

Advanced students will experience everything included in the one- and two-day courses, as well as moving to the 2.5-mile course The Fastest Road in the West for the third day. Experience the high-speed turns and off-camber corners, combined with long straight-a ways and exciting elevation changes a true test of your driving abilities! Learn where small, subtle changes with your inputs to the car make a big difference in your performance as lapping sessions become more advanced.
