Racingschools.com was bestowed the prestigious honor of providing its gift certificates to all performers and award presenters at the 2005 American Music Awards show televised live on ABC on Tuesday, November 22nd. Over 60 entertainment celebrities came by the Racingschools.com display area to personally pick up their race car driving certificates.

The star-studded group included such names as Carlos Santana and his current band Los Lonely Boys, Randy Jackson (American Idol judge), Rob Thomas (formerly with Matchbox 20), The All American Rejects, Rascal Flatts, Sugarland, Sarah McClachlan, The Backstreet Boys, Cyndi Lauper, Brooks and Dunn, and many other well-known entertainers.

Pat O’Brien, host of the television newsmagazine, “The Insider” was thrilled at receiving his certificate and commented that “he was looking forward to burning up some race track”. The Backstreet Boys and Randy Jackson were excited at the prospects of coming to Las Vegas Motor Speedway to drive real Formula One race cars in the new year. “It was a pleasure meeting such a gracious group of celebrities” said Robert Prevost, Founder & CEO of Racingschools.com. “I could tell by their comments that many of these people were genuinely thrilled at the thought of driving real race cars at the school of their choice”. Racingschools.com will also be an official provider of certificates for the upcoming RADIO MUSIC AWARDS to be held at the Aladdin Casino and Resort Hotel in Las Vegas, Nevada on December 19th, 2005.
