We are delighted to offer our Level 1 Program which offers three days designed to show you what the Z06 and the NEW C6 Z51 Corvette is capable of, show you what YOU are capable of and we will even push you beyond your limits so that you know what your limits are!! You will find our programs both challenging and rewarding, guaranteed!

The frame on the car is engineered to reduce front or rear traction so you can cause and learn to control a skid; preparing you for cornering on the track. Heel and toe Downshifting- Have you done your blip today? Learn to maximize efficiency through corners by doing over 4,000 gear changes in our three day program! With proper seating position, an open mind, and an open track, you'll be driving smoother than ever!!

DAY TWO:
Get revved back up with a heel and toe downshifting warm up and lets get our on the track for some shadow- lapping! No, this doesn't mean you'll be following your grandmother! Our instructors are going to teach you how to find your apexes, how to balance the car through the corners, and how to drive smoothly and precisely. As we say at Spring Mountain, speed is the product of precision and balance!

DAY THREE:
Let's talk about time on the track, time on the track and more time on the track! We'll start the day off with a shifting warm up, a shadow lapping session and then you're on your own! Helmets on, are you ready??

Now that you've mastered the basics of Level One, join the rest of the graduates and put our cars to the test! We conduct the program very informally because we want our drivers to have the freedom to pick our brains, and hone their skills. Activities include power circles in the dry (this is like the skid car exercise, but no skid frame, and you're in a Corvette). By using our Power Circle exercise you'll develop a higher level of balance, throttle modulation and the Visual Scanning techniques that are so important for high performance driving. These techniques will allow you to experience the limits of our Corvette Z06's & C6 Z51's for an unheard of amount to free lapping time on our 2.2 mile road course. In any form of Motorsports, from Formula One down, the terms "Smoothness" and "Balance" are often used to describe a professional. As a graduate of our program, you will discover the true meaning of these terms and realize your potential as an advanced driver.

Utilizing our 2.2 and 2.4 mile, 10 and 12-turn road course configurations, we will have you driving with speed, confidence and finesse using the performance driving techniques that helped to make Ron Fellows one of North America's most versatile and successful road racers.

Our goal is to provide you with an exciting and educational, adrenaline-charged program. Through a dynamic series of car control exercises and maneuvers developed by Ron Fellows and Chief Instructor Rick Malone, each and every student, of all ages, will have the opportunity to challenge themselves and the performance limits of our Michelin equipped Corvettes!

All of our Corvettes are equipped with two-way radio communications providing constant contact with our team of instructors.

Mind-speed processing is a key element in the high-performance world. Our step-by-step program will help you to process information quickly and accurately—the most important skill in the high-performance environment, helping you to better coordinate your eyes, hands and feet, improving your driving skill on the track and on the street!

This experience is only open to graduates of level 2 programs or racing license holders.

Whether you prefer the power and versatility of a Corvette or the adrenaline rush of the Radical SR3, our knowledgeable, private instructors will customize a program to suit your needs. We provide private driving instruction for every driving level, from new aspiring racers seeking first-time instruction to the most advanced racer looking to improve lap times.

Spring Mountain Motorsports' private instruction gives you the freedom to improve your driving skills at your convenience. You'll work with a private instructor to customize a program that focuses on your particular driving strengths and weaknesses. Whether you need to work on the basics such as heel-toe shifting, cornering and car control, or you simply want to improve your lap times, Spring Mountain's private instruction will propel your skills to a whole new level.

Program available in Corvette and Radical SR3

Spring Mountain's 2-day SCCA Licensing Recommendation School provides you with the opportunity to obtain your SCCA License in a car similar to the one in which you'll ultimately race. Choose from high horsepower Corvettes or our Radical SR3 (C Sport Racer). You'll learn SCCA rules, basic racing techniques, and you'll gain the experience necessary to apply for your SCCA Regional license.

Students must have graduated from one of Spring Mountain's basic driving schools: Ron Fellows Level 1, Radical or Lotus school. SCCA licensing is not guaranteed.

DAY ONE:
Day one includes review of basic performance driving techniques including heel-toe shifting, cornering technique, braking skills and car control. On track Lead/Follow sessions and classroom reviews will train you to find the proper racing line along with passing theory and techniques.

DAY TWO
Day two begins with a classroom review of SCCA flags, on-track flag recognition and Lead/Follow sessions. Later you will learn and practice race starts. You'll learn how to properly position your car during the parade lap, line up for the start and how to enter the first turn. You'll also review sprint race rules and passing zones. The day will culminate in three Sprint Races of 5 to 7 laps each.

This program available in the Corvette or the Radical SR3.

Our 2-day Radical Racing School teaches you how to pilot the Radical SR3 racecar at speeds you previously thought impossible. This lightweight racecar is built for performance but also meets stringent FIA safety standards. No matter what your experience level, we'll show you how to extract every bit of performance out of the Radical. You'll be challenged and entertained as you test the limits around our purpose built 1.5 mile road course, featuring elevation changes, off camber corners, fast straights and unique turns. Everything you need to achieve maximum performance is provided.

At the Radical Racing School, we teach you how to handle any car by starting with the basics such as proper racing line, threshold braking, car control and more. Short classroom sessions combined with intense track time provide the optimum environment to test your newfound skills. Our classes culminate in adrenaline filled lapping sessions that will keep you smiling for days.
